see my loom?

Ok, want to see my loom?

From the front. The cone at the bottom Is what I’m thinking of for my next project.

from the side. She’s a bit of a brute. I’m thinking I may turn her around so the front is to the back wall so I
can weave, watch kiddos, and still have some room.

Her name is Judith. While I am still figuring out a name for my spinning wheel, the loom told me her name lout and clear. When I first got it I called Gillmore to see if I could get more heddles. I talked to them a bit and found out that the loom is REALLY old. Like over 50 years. Ok so that’s not REALLY old but it’s old. Turns out that ‘back then’ Gillmore made all their looms custom. SO this loom was made for someone to be just the way it is!I had a dream that as I was moving it I found that on the leg was the name Judith (Pierce, I think) and a date. I don’t even remember the date. I looked all over the loom hoping that my eye caught the name somewhere and kept it in my subconscious but no luck, I just made it up. But she’s Judith.

She had been in storage for a number of years when I got her and then I had her in storage for about 2 years so she had some grime. I spend most of the morning an a bottle of Murphy’s oil soap and she looks MUCH better. She could STILL use some work though
